Súper Chuchin's owner denounces Boca del Río bureaucracy over store closure

Jesús Antonio Muñoz de Cote Sampiery, owner of Súper Chuchin's, has denounced the Boca del Río City Council in Veracruz for maintaining the closure of a store branch in the Rigo neighborhood due to administrative delays.

The closure originated from issues involving a hired manager who failed to address required corrections promptly. Muñoz de Cote questioned why the municipal authorities did not notify him directly once the omission was detected, especially since the manager was on the city's authorized list. The dispute involved discrepancies in land and construction measurements, data managed by the city's own Cadastre Department.

Despite the owner fulfilling all requirements, including paying fees and purchasing 80 trees for environmental compensation as requested, the establishment remains closed. The business owner expressed concern over the economic impact and the lack of reciprocity, noting that the authority indicated the process could take up to 30 days to resolve.
