Süper Lig clubs target 400 million euro annual broadcasting revenue

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and Süper Lig clubs are preparing for a new broadcasting rights tender, aiming to increase annual revenue to approximately 400 million euros. This target is a significant increase from the current annual revenue of roughly 187 million dollars, which clubs have deemed insufficient.

A commission composed of TFF and club representatives is expected to be established to draft the tender specifications. To maximize value and foster competition, authorities are considering splitting the rights into multiple packages. These potential packages could include live match broadcasts, digital content, highlights, international rights, and other audiovisual assets.

To assist clubs with budget and transfer planning for the upcoming seasons, there is a push to conclude the tender process early, potentially in January or February. While beIN Sports is the current broadcaster, the Saran Group has also been mentioned as a potential competitor in the upcoming process.
