Spetses: 49-year-old arrested for cocaine trafficking and bribery attempt
Police in Spetses arrested a 49-year-old foreign national for cocaine trafficking and money laundering. The suspect allegedly used a company delivery vehicle and his own motorcycle to distribute drugs to numerous individuals.
Authorities report that the suspect attempted to launder drug proceeds by using winning betting slips from gambling companies. During his arrest, he reportedly attempted to bribe officers with 20,000 euros to secure his release.
Searches of the suspect's residence and vehicles led to the seizure of 22 packages of cocaine ready for distribution, 26,542 euros in cash, 15,500 Albanian lek, 101 US dollars, and 12 betting slips totaling 27,097 euros. The investigation also involves 24 other individuals accused of drug possession. Additionally, a 22-year-old man was arrested for possession of cannabis and an air pistol.
