Spetses theft: Six arrested after 40,000 euro robbery

Six individuals have been arrested following a coordinated police operation spanning from the island of Spetses to the Argolis region. The operation was triggered by the theft of 40,000 euros and a Seiko brand watch from a residence on Spetses on Saturday afternoon, September 5.

According to reports, three women entered the home and stole the cash and the watch. The suspects fled the island via sea taxi to Costa, then transitioned to a land taxi heading toward Lygourio. There, they reportedly met three men in another vehicle.

Police units from the Spetses, Ermionida, and Epidaurus stations coordinated the pursuit. Officers successfully intercepted the group in Lygourio, resulting in the arrest of three women and three men. The suspects were taken to the detention center in Nafplio and are expected to appear before the relevant prosecutor.
