Spezia appoints Marco Turati as coach and completes several player signings

Marco Turati was appointed head coach of Serie B side Spezia after a failed contract with Catanzaro was declared void because he lacked the required UEFA Pro licence. The club confirmed his signing at a press conference, with sporting director Guido Angelozzi outlining the next steps for the squad.

Spezia announced the arrival of midfielder Abdoulie Ndow (born 2005, Gambia) on a two‑year contract until 2028, and Italian midfielder Kevin Bright (born 2003, former AC Milan youth) on a deal lasting until 2029. Angelozzi also said the club is close to acquiring Monza left‑back Samuele Capolupo on a temporary transfer, with the player expected to arrive after medicals. Additionally, Spanish midfielder Joselito (José Antonio Gómez Márquez) is set to leave Perugia and join Spezia following an agreed deal and pending medical examination.
