Spezia defeats Atalanta U23 2-1 in Serie C match

Spezia secured a 2-1 victory against Atalanta U23 at the Stadio Picco. Kevin Bright opened the scoring for Spezia within the first five minutes of the match. Although Atalanta U23 managed to equalize through Durmush, Spezia maintained their lead to secure the win.

Following the match, Spezia coach Marco Turati praised his players for their early momentum but noted a lack of clinical finishing and cynicism in front of the goal. He also expressed concerns regarding the poor condition of the pitch, citing potential risks for player injuries.

Goalkeeper Alessandro Micai continues to be a central figure for the team, having played every minute of the season so far and recording the highest number of clean sheets in Serie C Group B.
