Spezia Calcio renews medical partnership with Italian Red Cross

Spezia Calcio has renewed its partnership with the Italian Red Cross (Croce Rossa Italiana) for the 2026-27 season. The agreement ensures medical assistance for both the first team and youth squads during matches at the Alberto Picco stadium and the Ferdeghini training center. Approximately 90 volunteers, including doctors and nurses, will be deployed to provide emergency care, manage ambulances, and staff mobile resuscitation units.

In preparation for the upcoming Coppa Italia match against Torres, the Municipality of Spezia has announced traffic and parking restrictions around the Alberto Picco stadium. These measures, effective on Sunday, August 16, include prohibitions on stopping and transit on several roads, such as Viale Fieschi and Via dei Pioppi, to manage public order and match-day logistics.

The match between Spezia and Torres serves as a critical fixture for both clubs as they seek to establish momentum in the tournament. Spezia is currently undergoing significant squad changes under new management, while Torres enters the match with a more stable roster but faces several injury concerns.
