Spezia pursues transfer of Sebastiano Di Paolo from Cagliari

Spezia is actively pursuing the transfer of young attacker Sebastiano Di Paolo from Cagliari. Spezia director Guido Angelozzi aims to finalize the deal to strengthen the squad's offensive options for the upcoming season.

Negotiations have faced some friction due to tensions between Cagliari and Di Paolo’s agent, Mario Giuffredi. Despite these hurdles, Spezia intends to resume intensive contact with Cagliari early next week to reach an economic agreement. For Cagliari, the sale is viewed as a key component of a broader squad restructuring and wage bill reduction.

In addition to the Di Paolo pursuit, Spezia is managing several other roster movements, including efforts to resolve the status of players like Soleri, Bandinelli, and Mateju, as well as contract discussions with Cassata and Vignali to manage long-term financial commitments.
