Sphelele Mkhulise extends contract with Mamelodi Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Sphelele Mkhulise has signed a contract extension with the South African club, describing the decision to stay as a ‘no-brainer’.

Mkhulise, who joined the club’s academy in 2012 and was promoted to the senior team in 2018, cited the club’s leadership and supportive environment as primary reasons for his commitment. He noted that the standards set by the club’s leadership inspire the squad to maintain high performance levels.

The extension provides stability to the Sundowns squad as they compete in the DStv Premiership and the MTN8 tournament. Mkhulise’s tenure has been characterized by multiple league titles and a contribution to the team’s attacking style of play.
