Sphere Abacus secures international sales for thriller series The Game

Sphere Abacus has secured extensive international sales for the psychological thriller series ‘The Game’ ahead of its second season premiere. The series, produced by Clapperboard Studios, stars Jason Watkins and Robson Green.

Sales for the first series include broadcasters such as Disney+ in the UK and Ireland, TV2 in Norway, RUV in Iceland, CANAL+ and POLAR+ in various European and African territories, Filmin in Portugal and Spain, Mystery Channel in Japan, and Cosmote TV in Greece.

Season two, which explores themes of obsession and trauma, has already been sold to several international distributors, including Foxtel Group in Australia, SVT in Sweden, Sky New Zealand, and YLE in Finland. The second series is scheduled to premiere on the UK broadcaster 5.
