Spice and Wolf anime second season set for 2027 release

The second season of the anime series ‘Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf’ is scheduled to premiere in 2027. The announcement was accompanied by a new promotional image featuring protagonists Holo and Kraft Lawrence, alongside the silhouette of a mysterious new character, Eve Bolan.

Production will continue under studio Passione, with Takeo Takahashi and Hijiri Sanpei serving as directors. The musical score will be composed by Kevin Penkin. The voice cast will include Jun Fukuyama as Kraft Lawrence and Ami Koshimizu as Holo.

This upcoming season coincides with the 15th anniversary of the original light novel franchise written by Isuna Hasekura. The series follows the travels of a traveling merchant and a wolf deity through a world of medieval economics and fantasy.
