Spice Girls announce anniversary box sets after reunion rumors

The Spice Girls have announced the release of ‘The Singles Collection’ to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Spice. The announcement follows a cryptic social media teaser that featured the group’s iconic song ‘Wannabe’ and imagery from its music video, which led many fans to speculate about a potential reunion tour or new music.

Instead of a tour, the group revealed a series of limited-edition box sets containing all their singles, B-sides, and previously unreleased recordings, such as the early demo ‘Do You Think About Me’. The collections will be available in both CD and 7-inch colored vinyl formats and are scheduled for release on November 6, 2026.

The announcement has met with mixed reactions from fans. While collectors have welcomed the inclusion of rare tracks and memorabilia, many social media users expressed disappointment that the teaser did not result in a live reunion of the five original members: Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham.
