Spider-Man: A New Day reveals organic webbing and detailed Hot Toys collectibles

The upcoming Marvel film "Spider-Man: A New Day" (Homem‑Aranha: Um Novo Dia) will show Peter Parker developing organic webbing, heightened senses and increased agility, a mutation explained in‑film as a result of extreme isolation after Doctor Strange's spell. Tom Holland described the transformation as "Spider‑Puberty" and noted that the hero will no longer use Stark‑era mechanical web shooters.

Hot Toys has unveiled a 1/6‑scale collectible figure of the new Spider‑Man, featuring a meticulously detailed mask, interchangeable lenses and hands, and a redesigned web‑shooter that magnetically attaches to the forearms. The deluxe version adds a black cap, a striped padded vest and a battle‑scene diorama with villain accessories. Analysts project a U.S. opening of $212‑255 million and a total domestic gross of $475‑665 million, with the film slated for release on 29 July worldwide.
