Spider-Man and La Odisea drive massive global box office success
The film industry is seeing a significant economic surge driven by the simultaneous success of two major titles: ‘Spider-Man: Bran New Day’ and ‘La Odisea’. This phenomenon, being compared to the previous ‘Barbenheimer’ trend, has resulted in a combined global box office total of 2.8 billion euros.
In the Spanish market, ‘Spider-Man: Bran New Day’ maintained its leading position with 4.1 million euros earned over the weekend, nearly doubling the 2.1 million euros collected by Christopher Nolan’s ‘La Odisea’. Other notable performers include ‘Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie’, which debuted with 0.61 million euros.
Upcoming releases for mid-August include the live-action adaptation ‘Marsupilami’, the Australian comedy ‘Kangaroo: An Adventure in Australia’, and the Norwegian animation ‘Manual for Superheroes: The Red Mask’. Additionally, David Robert Mitchell’s ‘The End of Oak Street’ is scheduled for release on August 14.
