Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse footage leaks online
Approximately four to five minutes of unfinished footage from the upcoming animated film ‘Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse’ has leaked online. The clips, which have circulated widely on platforms like X and TikTok, appear to be the same material Sony Pictures Animation presented privately to industry insiders at CinemaCon earlier this year.
The leaked content includes an opening scene picking up from the previous film’s cliffhanger—with Miles Morales on Earth-42—as well as a montage of action sequences. Co-writer and producer Christopher Miller expressed his frustration regarding the leak on social media, stating, “Not a fan of leaks of unfinished, not fully rendered footage.”
Sony has reportedly issued copyright takedown notices to combat the spread of the clips, though the footage continues to resurface. The film, which serves as the final chapter in the Miles Morales trilogy, is currently scheduled for release on June 18, 2027.
