The fourth Spider‑Man solo film starring Tom Holland has broken multiple box‑office records. Projections estimate a worldwide opening weekend of about $465 million (or €465 million). Critics have responded positively, giving the film a 91 % approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The worldwide launch was marked by a star‑studded premiere and a new line of Spider‑Man merchandise at World of Disney. Tom Holland has reiterated his willingness to remain in the role for as long as Sony and Marvel see fit and hinted at a long‑term plan that could see Miles Morales take over the mantle. The strong commercial performance and enthusiastic reception suggest the franchise will continue to be a major driver for both studios.
