Spider-Man: Brand New Day 4K UHD and Blu-ray release set for January 2027

Sony Pictures Entertainment and Happinet Media Marketing have announced that the film ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ will be released on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD in Japan on January 20, 2027. The release includes several versions, such as a standard UHD BD/BD set, a Blu-ray/DVD set, an Amazon-exclusive steelbook edition, and a limited-edition Premium Steelbook Edition featuring a Japan-original outer case and production notes.

The film, which follows Peter Parker four years after the events of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, has achieved significant commercial success. It holds the record for the third highest global box office gross of all time, following ‘Avatar’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’, with a worldwide total of approximately $2.48 billion.

Special features for the Blu-ray release include behind-the-scenes footage, bloopers, and segments on character costumes and action sequences. Various retailers in Japan, including Amazon.co.jp, Rakuten Books, and Bic Camera, will offer limited-edition versions bundled with unique merchandise such as pins, mugs, and acrylic stands.
