Spider-Man: Brand New Day opens in India a day early, tickets go on sale June 17

Sony Pictures Entertainment announced that the Marvel film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" will open in Indian cinemas on July 30, a day before the worldwide release slated for July 31. The movie will be shown in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam across 2D, 3D and premium large formats. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film returns Tom Holland as Peter Parker and features Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal and Michael Mando.

Tickets for the film become available globally on June 17 at 9 a.m. ET / 6 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. BST. In the United States, Prime members can also sign up for early screenings on July 29, two days before the general release. The sequel follows the events of "Spider-Man: No Way Home," with Peter dealing with a mysterious illness while the multiverse continues to forget his existence.
