Spider-Man: Brand New Day poised for $250 million opening as $50 art book announced

Industry trackers project Marvel’s upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day to generate about $250 million in domestic box‑office receipts during its opening weekend, with estimates ranging from $34 million to $50 million. The film is scheduled to debut in the United States on July 31, with limited releases in several international markets such as the United Kingdom a day or two earlier. It has recorded the strongest first‑day U.S. presales for a movie in five years.

A companion 208‑page art book, Spider‑Man: Brand New Day – The Art of the Movie, will be released worldwide on August 4. Priced at $50 and published by Penguin Random House, the book contains concept sketches, costume designs inspired by earlier Spider‑Man portrayals, and behind‑the‑scenes visuals. It will be available for pre‑order through major retailers including Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Target.
