Spider-Man: Brand New Day launches in ScreenX format in Croatia and Germany

The Marvel superhero film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" (also titled "Spider-Man: Novo doba") is the first movie ever shot specifically for the ScreenX cinema format, which expands the image onto the side walls of the auditorium for a 270‑degree panoramic view. The film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon and a supporting cast, will open in Croatian theaters on 30 July, with a preview on 29 July, distributed by the company Jučer.

In Germany, only three cinemas – UCI Luxe Mercedes Platz in Berlin, the Filmpalast in Kassel and Cineplex in Mannheim – are equipped to show the ScreenX version. Screenings are scheduled for 29 July, with tickets priced around €20. Unlike earlier ScreenX releases that added side images in post‑production, "Brand New Day" was captured on set with dedicated cameras, delivering an immersive experience without the need for 3D glasses.
