Spider-Man: Brand New Day slated for July 2026 release with Savage Hulk, Punisher

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures announced that the next MCU installment, Spider‑Man: Brand New Day, will open in theaters in late July 2026 (reports list July 29 or July 31). The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and is part of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The returning cast includes Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Sadie Sink, Michael Mando and others. Trailers and teasers reveal a new, savage version of the Hulk and a showdown between Spider‑Man and the Punisher. A teaser also shows a mysterious device that could help Spider‑Man fight the Hulk.

Additional promotional material includes an Italian‑dubbed TV spot highlighting organic webs, a Dutch interview where producer Amy Pascal praised Cretton, and a preview of Michael Giacchino’s new “Suite New Day” theme music. The film’s storyline follows a grown‑up Peter Parker living in a New York that no longer remembers him, confronting heightened pressure, a physical evolution, and a dangerous new threat.
