Spider-Man: Homecoming sees resurgence on streaming platforms

The film ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is experiencing a resurgence on streaming platforms. According to FlixPatrol, the movie has reached the No. 6 spot on Netflix’s U.S. movie chart, outperforming titles such as ‘Black Adam’. The film is also performing well on Disney+.

This renewed interest coincides with the theatrical success of Tom Holland’s latest Spider-Man installment and buzz surrounding ‘Brand New Day’. Directed by Jon Watts, the 2017 film features Holland as Peter Parker, with Michael Keaton, Zendaya, and Robert Downey Jr. in key roles. Chris Evans also appears in a cameo as Captain America.

Originally released with a $175 million budget, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ earned nearly $880 million worldwide. The film holds a 92% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8.1 audience rating on IMDb.
