Spider‑Man: Brand New Day trailer shatters viewership record
Sony released a new trailer for the upcoming film *Spider‑Man: Brand New Day*, confirming a July 29 2026 release in Slovak cinemas. The preview shows Peter Parker returning to New York, battling a Hulk‑like threat and confronting unprecedented physical changes that jeopardize his control over his powers. It also hints at the involvement of Bruce Banner and the Punisher, while reuniting Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo and Jon Bernthal, and introducing newcomers such as Sadie Sink.
The trailer generated massive online response, logging 718.6 million views in its first 24 hours and becoming the first film trailer to exceed one billion views in under a week. Variety described it as one of Sony’s biggest projects, and studio head Tom Rothman praised Holland’s performance as his best to date.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film continues the story after the events of *Spider‑Man: No Way Home*, exploring a darker, more personal chapter for the hero.
