Spielban 4K remastered episode to air on TOKYO MX

TOKYO MX will broadcast a special 4K negative scan HD remastered version of the first episode of the tokusatsu drama ‘Spielban’ on October 11, 2026, at 19:00.

This broadcast commemorates the upcoming release of the ‘Spielban Blu-ray BOX’ on October 14, 2026. The Blu-ray release is part of the ‘Toei Tokusatsu Blu-ray Project,’ which selects titles for physical media release based on fan votes. The Blu-ray BOX will be available exclusively through the Toei Video online shop and includes all 44 episodes along with video bonuses.

Originally aired from April 1986 to March 1987, ‘Spielban’ is the fifth installment of the Metal Hero series. The story follows a space warrior from the destroyed planet Clin who fights the Waller Empire to protect Earth and rescue his family.
