Spieren voor Spieren wins F1 Allwyn Global Community Award

The Dutch non-profit Spieren voor Spieren has been named the recipient of the F1 Allwyn Global Community Award at the 2026 Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix. The organization, which supports approximately 20,000 children in the Netherlands living with muscular diseases, will receive a €100,000 donation from the lottery-led entertainment company Allwyn.

The funds are designated to support the 2026 Spieren voor Spieren Day on August 30. This annual event provides roughly 600 children and their families with opportunities to participate in sports, play, and social activities. The charity focuses on accelerating medical research, improving access to early diagnoses, and investing in physical activity programs to help children maintain mobility and independence.

Judges recognized the organization for using sport as a tool to promote inclusion and social impact. Spieren voor Spieren also maintains an ongoing relationship with Formula 1, frequently bringing young ambassadors to race weekends to experience the sport.
