Spijk and Sliedrecht Host Children’s Summer Play Weeks in August 2026

From 10 to 13 August 2026 the ice‑rink area in Spijk will hold a four‑day children’s play festival called Priegeldörp. Activities include hut‑building, games, a roof‑bird show, a foam party and a market. The programme schedules daily opening ceremonies at 09:00, meals such as pancakes and hamburgers, and closing events each afternoon.

From 24 to 28 August 2026 the ice‑rink site at Lijsterweg in Sliedrecht will run ZomerKNOTS, organised by Stichting Open Jeugdwerk Sliedrecht. Children aged 6‑12 can join the week for a €13 week‑ticket purchased at the local Primera shop, or buy a €3 day‑ticket on the day. Each day starts at 10:00 with games, a lunch break, and a midday programme that runs until 15:00. The final day ends with a free hamburger for all participants.
