Spike Lee unveils custom Knicks‑themed Air Jordan 3 sneakers

Filmmaker and longtime Knicks super‑fan Spike Lee debuted a bespoke Air Jordan 3 colorway while seated courtside during Game 3 of the NBA Finals on June 8. The sneaker splits the iconic blue and orange hues of the Knicks, with a blue upper on the left shoe and an orange one on the right. Created in partnership with Jordan Brand, the shoes are a personal tribute and have not been announced for commercial release. Fans on social media praised the bold design and speculated about a possible limited drop, but the shoes remain a private piece of Lee’s collection.

The release coincides with the Knicks' historic Eastern Conference run, adding to the city’s celebratory atmosphere.
