Spilimbergo Mental Health Center faces potential closure

Regional councilors Rosaria Capozzi and Mara Turani of the Movimento 5 Stelle have expressed serious concern regarding the potential closure of the Mental Health Center (CSM) in Spilimbergo. Reports suggest that activities at the facility might be transferred to the CSM in Maniago.

The councilors argue that such a move would penalize vulnerable patients, increase territorial inequalities, and worsen waiting lists and workloads for remaining teams. They have filed an inquiry with the Friuli Venezia Giulia regional government, demanding clarity and guarantees that the mental health network will not be weakened or reduced in the Pordenone province.
