Spin Master launches Hellbreak horror trading card game

Spin Master, together with Ghost Galaxy and Universal Products & Experiences, announced the upcoming horror‑themed trading card game Hellbreak. The game pits legendary monsters such as Jason Voorhees, Dracula, the Bride of Frankenstein, and Steven Spielberg’s Jaws against each other in head‑to‑head battles. The first set, Dawn of Terror, will be released in the fall of 2026 and features fully custom artwork from more than 43 artists.

Hellbreak will be previewed at Gen Con in Indianapolis from July 30 to August 2 (booth 2727). The roster expands beyond Universal’s catalog to include properties from AMC, Blumhouse and Lionsgate, with partners describing the collaboration as a “first‑of‑its‑kind” translation of horror franchises into tabletop play.
