Spin Master posts Q2 profit on PAW Patrol sales and tariff refund

Spin Master reported a second‑quarter revenue of $436.4 million, up 8.9% year‑over‑year, and a net profit of $29.7 million, reversing a loss of $46.5 million in the same period last year. The turnaround was driven by strong toy sales, especially core brands PAW Patrol and Monster Jam, and a one‑time $37.9 million tariff refund under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.

Toy revenue rose 12% to $361.1 million, helped by shipments pulled forward ahead of the theatrical release of PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie. Adjusted EBITDA jumped 80% to $23 million, while marketing expenses fell by $12 million compared with the prior year. The company also introduced new products such as Magic Jellykins, Bitzee and Rubik’s Rush during the quarter. Spin Master reaffirmed its 2026 guidance for low‑to‑mid‑single‑digit revenue growth and mid‑to‑high‑single‑digit adjusted EBITDA growth.
