SPINNS launches FUFUTIETIE collaboration and 2016-inspired autumn collection
The apparel brand SPINNS, operated by Human Forum, is launching several new initiatives. In Osaka, a limited-time shop-in-shop collaboration with art figure brand FUFUTIETIE is being held at the SUPER SPINNS Umeda HEP FIVE store from August 18 to September 24.
The collaboration features the ‘Koi-ji Diagnosis,’ an interactive experience using the Chinese zodiac to explore themes of love and personal identity. FUFUTIETIE, which reinterprets East Asian cultural motifs like Buddhism and mythology into modern art figures, will display various series including ‘OMUSUBI’ and ‘KOKOROBI,’ alongside accessories like bracelets and stickers.
Additionally, SPINNS is rolling out its ‘Back to 2016’ autumn collection across its stores and online shop. This style aims to reinterpret trends from around 2016, such as Napoleon jackets, studs, and vibrant colors like mint and yellow, responding to the global ‘2026 is the new 2016’ social media movement.
