Spire Motorsports and SPS Racing announce racing expansions

Spire Motorsports has announced the hiring of dirt late-model driver Nick Hoffman to lead its full-time grassroots racing effort starting in 2027. Hoffman, the 2023 World of Outlaws Late Model Series Rookie of the Year, will make his debut with the team at the Gateway Dirt Nationals in early December.

Separately, SPS Racing is expanding into the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. The team will make its series debut on September 18 at Bristol Motor Speedway with 19-year-old Landon S. Huffman driving the No. 43 Chevrolet. This appearance is part of a planned three-race program for the end of the 2026 season, which includes scheduled races at Phoenix Raceway and Talladega Superspeedway.
