Spirit film production remains on track for March 2027 release

The production house for the upcoming film ‘Spirit’, starring Prabhas and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has confirmed that the movie remains on track for its scheduled release on March 5, 2027. This statement follows industry speculation regarding potential delays due to the actor's busy schedule and the massive scale of the production.

If the film maintains its current date, it would create a major box office clash during the Eid 2027 weekend with an upcoming action film starring Salman Khan. While some reports suggested the makers might consider alternative windows, such as June 2027, a spokesperson for T-Series stated that there is ‘absolutely no change to the announced release date’ and that the project is proceeding as planned.

‘Spirit’ is described as a standalone film featuring Prabhas as an intense police officer, with Triptii Dimri in the female lead role.
