Spiritbox releases new single “Mourning” amid European tour

Canadian metal band Spiritbox has released “Mourning,” their first single following the 2025 album Tsunami Sea. The track features a mix of restrained sections and heavy tones, accompanied by a music video co-directed by Mike Stringer and Alexis Bemis.

The band is currently performing their Tsunami Sea UK and Europe tour, which includes dates in the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, and several other European nations. During recent performances, vocalist Courtney LaPlante has highlighted the band’s origins on Vancouver Island. The group’s musical style incorporates elements of metalcore, drum’n’bass, R&B, and industrial music, characterized by LaPlante’s ability to transition between guttural screams and clean, melodic vocals.
