Spirits industry hosts major events in Barcelona and Argentina

The spirits and mixology industry is hosting major international events in late 2026. The fifth edition of the Barcelona Liquor Symposium (BLS) will take place on September 30 and October 1 at the Palau de Pedralbes in Barcelona. Organized by Foment del Treball and IGP Brandy Penedès, the symposium focuses on innovation, tradition, and the future of spirits, covering topics such as sustainability, consumer trends, and food safety.

Brandy Penedès will feature prominently at the symposium with cocktail exhibitions and tastings. The event will also showcase Ratafia Catalana and various Spanish geographic indications.

In Argentina, Negroni Week 2026, driven by Campari and Don by Havas, will extend throughout the entire month of September. While the global official dates are September 21 to 27, the Argentine celebration will involve over 300 bars nationwide. The initiative includes bar routes, bartender-led cocktail variations, and digital content exploring the history and mixology of the Negroni.
