Spirou et Fantasio film arrives on M6+ streaming service

The adventure comedy film ‘Les Aventures de Spirou et Fantasio’, based on the popular Franco-Belgian comic books by Franquin, is now available for free streaming on M6+.

Directed by Alexandre Coffre and released in 2018, the film follows the mismatched duo of Spirou, a purported hotel groom, and Fantasio, a reporter seeking a scoop. The pair must team up to rescue the eccentric inventor Count Champignac from the villainous Zorglub, who intends to use a new invention to achieve world domination.

The film features a French cast including Thomas Solivérès and Alex Lutz in the title roles, alongside Christian Clavier, Ramzy Bedia, and Géraldine Nakache. While some critiques have described the adaptation as lacking rhythm, it remains a family-oriented production blending mystery and humor.
