Spitz to release new single ‘Kitsune no Botan’ ahead of 18th album

Japanese rock band Spitz will release the digital single ‘Kitsune no Botan’ on November 2. The track serves as the theme song for Kirin Gogo no Kocha commercials featuring Ren Meguro.

The single is a precursor to the band’s 18th original album, titled ‘kettle’, which is scheduled for release on November 25. The album will feature 13 tracks, including ‘Mishiranu Ito’, the theme for the TBS drama ‘T-shirt ga Kawaku made’, and ‘Akari o Mamoru’, the opening theme for the third season of the anime ‘SPY×FAMILY’.

Additionally, the band has announced the ‘SPITZ JAMBOREE TOUR 2027 “kettle”’. The nationwide tour is set to begin on March 6, 2027, at Yokohama Arena and will include 28 performances across 13 cities, concluding on June 20 in Aichi Prefecture.
