Splash House festival boosts Palm Springs economy

The Splash House electronic music festival is providing a summer economic boost to Palm Springs, California. The event, which features poolside performances and late-night events at various resorts and the Palm Springs Air Museum, draws thousands of visitors to the area.

Local businesses, including restaurants, bars, and shops, benefit from the increased foot traffic during the summer months, a period that can otherwise be slow due to high temperatures in the Coachella Valley. In 2022, organizers estimated the festival generated an economic impact of approximately $6.7 million per weekend. The 2026 festival is scheduled for August 7–9 and August 14–16.
