Splatoon Raiders Amiibo Scanning Unlocks Cosmetic Outfits

Nintendo's Splatoon Raiders lets players scan compatible amiibo figures through the Style menu to unlock exclusive cosmetic outfits. The process involves opening the Gear menu, selecting the Style tab, navigating to the Amiibo section and using the controller’s NFC touchpoint to scan the figure. Once scanned, the reward is added automatically and can be equipped from the Outfit selection screen.

The game features 15 outfits in total. Eight require completing in‑game objectives such as reaching level 10, upgrading weapons, or clearing specific dens. Four outfits are unlocked by scanning specific Splatoon amiibo: Bite Waders (any Splatoon series amiibo), Shiver Outfit (Shiver amiibo), Frye Outfit (Frye amiibo) and Big Man Outfit (Big Man amiibo). The remaining three outfits have no unlock conditions and are available by default.

In addition to outfits, players can recruit three non‑playable characters—Shiver, Frye and Big Man—each providing unique abilities and bond‑based bonuses during exploration missions.
