Split announces public call for rental apartments
The City of Split has issued a public call for the rental of apartments based on socioeconomic criteria. Applications must be submitted by September 30, after which a priority list will be established.
To be eligible, applicants must be adult Croatian citizens with a residence in Split for at least ten consecutive years or 20 years with interruptions. Applicants and their household members must not have owned real estate within the last ten years. Income limits are set at a maximum of 1,014.30 euros per month for single individuals and 507.15 euros per household member for families. Additionally, candidates must not have outstanding debts to the City of Split or currently occupy state or city-owned housing.
Priority will be determined by factors including length of residence, employment history, household composition, number of minor children or students, housing and social-health status, participation in the Homeland War, and previous ranking on housing lists. Apartment sizes will be allocated based on household size: up to 35 square meters for singles, 35 to 45 square meters for two-person households, 45 to 65 square meters for three to four-person households, and over 65 square meters for larger families.
