Split Sports Day gathers over 25 clubs at Žnjan

The “Split Sports Day” event was held at the Žnjan plateau, bringing together more than 25 local sports clubs, associations, and families. The initiative aimed to introduce children and parents to various athletic disciplines and the work of local clubs.

Participants had the opportunity to try various sports, including basketball, football, martial arts, rowing, volleyball, and archery. The event also emphasized inclusivity through presentations by the Split Parasport Association and the Split Association of the Deaf, featuring activities such as wheelchair basketball and para-taekwondo.

Renowned Split athletes and Olympians, including Blanka Vlašić, Barbara Matić, Ivano Balić, and Bruno Šundov, attended the event to interact with the community and encourage youth participation in sports.
