Split students assist tourists in collaborative safety and tourism project

In Split, students from the Tourism and Catering School (TUŠ) participated in a collaborative project with the Split Tourism Board and the Split-Dalmatia Police Administration. Stationed at the Split Riva alongside a mobile police prevention center, the students provided essential information to domestic and foreign tourists.

While police officers focused on safety, the Safe in Dalmatia app, and crime prevention, the students assisted visitors with logistical inquiries. These included directions to ferry and airport terminals, bus routes, and locations of local landmarks or services. The initiative aimed to combine tourism, education, and security while allowing students to practice foreign language skills and communication in a real-world setting.
