Split‑Dalmatia Governor Blaženko Boban honors University of Split futsal gold medalists

County Governor Blaženko Boban hosted a reception at the Split‑Dalmatia County building for the University of Split futsal team, which won the gold medal at the European University Games in Salerno, Italy. The ceremony was attended by Željko Primorac, head of the County Department for Culture, Technical Culture and Sports, and the team's captain Ante Crnjac and goalkeeper Roko Marin Stojkić.

Boban praised the students for promoting Split, the county and Croatia with their historic victory, noting that they defeated strong teams including the university from Azerbaijan. He highlighted the team's ambition to defend their title when Split hosts the 2028 edition of the European University Games, emphasizing the value of teamwork and community support.
