Spokane’s Lucas Jumalon tops chip count at WSOP Main Event final table
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event began with 9,208 entrants and has now narrowed to nine players who will reconvene on August 3 for the final table in Las Vegas. The tournament will pause until that date.
Twenty‑two‑year‑old Lucas Jumalon of Spokane, Washington, entered the final nine as the chip leader with 194 million chips, more than double the 79 million held by Rami Hammoud of Canada in second place. Jumalon has already secured a prize of at least $1 million. Other notable eliminated players include former champion Hossein Ensan and 2025 Player‑of‑Year Shaun Deeb.
The winner of the final table will claim the $10 million first‑place prize, with the remaining players competing for the remaining payouts.
