Spoleto to honor former footballer Angelo Orazi

The city of Spoleto is organizing a ceremony to honor former professional footballer Angelo Orazi. The event, scheduled for Monday, September 14, at the Botanical Garden of the Carducci Library in Palazzo Mauri, aims to recognize the sporting and human legacy of the athlete.

Orazi, a former midfielder, had a notable career including 291 appearances in Serie A and 33 in Serie B. His career highlights include playing for Roma, where he won the Coppa Italia, and later playing for Udinese between 1981 and 1983. The initiative is supported by the Committee of Old Glories of F.C. Spoleto 1969-70, in collaboration with Asd Spoleto and the Municipality of Spoleto.
