Sport Club do Recife extends contracts for Barletta and Ajul

Sport Club do Recife has secured contract extensions for two key players. Forward Chrystian Barletta has renewed his commitment to the club until July 2029. Barletta, who has been a standout performer in the Série B campaign with nine goals and three assists, expressed his ambition to help the team return to Série A.

Additionally, the club has extended the contract of defender Marcelo Ajul until the end of 2028. The 23-year-old defender, who recently regained a starting position under coach Gilmar Dal Pozzo, has made 22 appearances this season and scored three goals. The renewal for Ajul follows months of negotiations and includes a salary adjustment.
