Sport Club Internacional ends Bakambu talks and extends Denis Marfo loan

Sport Club Internacional has officially ended negotiations to sign striker Cédric Bakambu. The club stated that the parties were unable to reach an agreement on the terms required to finalize the deal. The 35-year-old forward, who previously played for Real Betis, remains a free agent.

In separate squad developments, Internacional has secured a new one-year loan agreement for 20-year-old midfielder Denis Marfo. Although his previous link with MSK Zilina Africa FC had expired, the two clubs reached a new arrangement that allows the player to remain with the club, initially joining the Under-20 squad to seek a path to the professional team.
