Sport extends striker Chrystian Barletta's contract until 2029

Sport Recife announced that striker Chrystian Barletta has signed a new three‑year deal running to 31 July 2029. The club highlighted his technical contribution and the desire to honour his role in the team’s recent successes.

Barletta, a Limeira‑born forward who joined Sport in 2024, has made 124 appearances, scoring 28 goals for the club. In 2026 alone he netted 11 goals, sharing the top‑scorer honour with fellow forward Pedro Perotti, and added seven assists. He reached his 100th match during this season’s Campeonato Pernambucano and helped the side secure a third state title and promotion to Brazil’s top tier.

Speaking to the club, Barletta said, “Sport represents a great part of my career and life. I am happy and proud to wear this shirt. I sign this renewal with great joy, seeing it as recognition. I thank the trust and hope to help the club even more in the challenges ahead.”
