Sport Minister Andrea Abodi visits Taranto padel venue

Italian Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi visited the Parco Mediterraneo della Salinella, the venue for padel competitions at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto. During the visit, Abodi participated in a brief practice session on the court alongside members of the Spanish national padel team, including players José Diestro, David Gala, Pol Hernandez, and Guille Collado.

Following the session, Abodi met with representatives from the International Padel Federation and technical staff. He praised the functionality of the central court, referred to as the ‘theatre of Padel’, which will host the tournament finals. The Minister also expressed his support for the Italian national team competing in the games.
