Sporting CP draws 0-0 against SC Braga in Liga BPI

Sporting CP recorded its first setback of the Liga BPI season following a 0-0 draw against SC Braga. Despite Sporting creating more opportunities and having a goal by Leah Lewis disallowed for offside, neither side could find the back of the net.

Ahead of the match, Sporting coach Micael Sequeira emphasized the importance of regaining confidence following a recent loss in the UEFA Women's Champions League. He noted that the current SC Braga squad features a significantly different structure and formation compared to previous seasons. Braga's Marta Ferreira also expressed the team's commitment to delivering a strong performance against the Lisbon-based club.
